I live in one of the prettiest places on earth, taking photos of kids, pets, and the families who love them. Based out of southern West Virginia, but always available for travel.
Children view their world in a very simplistic manner. They love who they love, and they love to be loved. This innocence, this appreciation of people and moments, is so precious and fleeting, and capturing it is such a rewarding feeling.
My approach to your Portraits
Being a mom myself, I understand how fast time goes. One minute we are helping to nurture their natural curiosity, and the next minute we’re packing them off to school. My photography is inspired by those moments when a child is just a child, full of wonder. When hugging a puppy is the best thing in the world, when meeting a friendly duck is the best thing ever, and when playing is the only thing on their to-do list. My photography is inspired by light, color, and relationships. Whether I am photographing your babies or your family, my goal is to freeze the most tender of moments, so you have them for a lifetime.
My Background in Southern WV Portrait Photography
I’m a small-town girl with a big love for ducks and all animals. My love for animals started young; I grew up at a duck hatchery, and my family raised seeing-eye dogs. My love of photography came a bit later, and it only seemed natural to me to combine the two. There’s something about the beauty and innocence of animals and children that speak to me, and freezing fleeting moments has become a passion of mine.
You just can’t go wrong with Andrea, she is great! Her personality, her set up, she’s quick and can capture just what you want! She did a wonderful job with my 4 month olds spring session I couldn’t have been more pleased. We will be back for more session for sure.
