Is there anything cuter than a Frenchie pup? Maybe if you add his little side kick Jada. When Jada's parents told me they got a new puppy and wanted to book a shoot I was SO EXCITED. Capturing the bond these two already had was SO MUCH fun. They are just the cutest duo. I brought several outfits for Jada to wear during her session and each set up was designed to create beautiful art pieces for their home.

Dolly Sods is one of my favorite locations to
shoot. I like to travel throughout all of West Virginia. It is such a magical state.
Photographing families is such a blessing to me! Many clients who start out bringing in their kids to be photographed book family sessions once they realize that my style is all about bringing out your personalities.
Rather than stuffy poses that don’t look like you, I focus on capturing that perfectly imperfect dynamic of your family.
It starts with a questionnaire to get to know the cast of characters that make up your family, and each session is personalized to bring out the best in all of you. I’ve converted many skeptical dads into believers that family sessions can be fun!
One of my favorite places to do family portrait sessions is at the New River Gorge National Park in Fayetteville, WV. It’s got everything; mountain views, scenic vistas, and mountain streams. It’s pure magic in the few hours before sunset.
And because life is hectic enough, I even have a full client wardrobe available for kids and moms to match the aesthetic you are looking for in your photos.

The Kids and family Portrait Process
I love being a children’s portrait photographer because children are so uninhibited. They don’t see life outlined in lines and rules; they see life in big, bright, bold technicolor. Life is fascinating to them!
Capturing a moment in time of your children is my goal as a portrait photographer. I have clients that come back year after year, and I’m lucky enough to be the one that documents their lives. Each session is special because each stage of your child’s growth is amazing, from newborn through the teen years.

In many of my photos, you’ll see little girls in adorable dresses or little boys in charming outfits. Many of them come from my client closet, which is a curated collection of the most beautiful children’s clothing I can find. Rather than investing in clothing your child may never wear again, I take care of all of the styling for you!
Although I specialize in capturing Children and animals, I know that now all kids like animals and that is ok! I love offering Children's sessions that focus on the child! These sessions can be in studio or outside. Please feel free to reach out about your session so we can work together and plan the perfect one!

All of my sessions include my time and talent and high-resolution digital files. You can always purchase additional prints or albums from your online collection if you wish! I do not have a minimum purchase, and you are welcome to print and share your images.

It’s my most popular session! This session is recommended if you want to include pets in the session and if you are looking for different looks or outfit changes. It also includes travel up to 2.5 hours, so we can do the session at many amazing locations in and around West Virginia.
